In this two and a half hour Master class, Amrita(800 Hour Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher) will be sharing with you an invigorating practice inspired by the Jivamukti Yoga method.
The focus will be on hip opening and twisting, helping to release tension and stress and detoxing the body. Igniting our inner fire again after the cold dark months of Winter we will be calling in bright and joyful new beginnings for Spring. Prepare to move, groove, sweat and have fun!
Jivamukti Yoga is a method that was developed and nurtured in the USA by worldrenowned international yoga teachers Sharon Gannon and David Life. Jivamukti yoga classes are invigorating, inspiring and energising, and utilise vinyasa or flowing sequencing.
Classes can be relatively challenging but the after-effect is a deep sense of calm and relaxation after the practice. The Jivamukti method focuses on a dynamic vinyasa practice, and also includes spiritual intention, yogic teachings, Sanskrit chanting, relaxation and meditation. The overall practice is integrative and rooted in a classical yogic-Indian lineage and heritage.
